Julia Center has a class for everyone who wants to learn to speak English!
We offer three levels of ESL:
- Basic – for those who have no working knowledge of the language and want to build a vocabulary of common words and phrases
- Often the first word learned is “welcome”
- Intermediate – for those who have graduated from Basic or learned to speak more common English words
- These students are typically ready to go out and start interacting with the community
- Advanced – for those who graduated from Intermediate or those who can carry on a conversation in English
- Often these students want to become bi-literate
