Meet the Board

Nora Harris, President of the Board at Julia Center, is the Program Manager at Known Holdings.  Nora joined the Julia Center board in 2018, serving as Board Secretary, and joining the Events Committee and Communications Committee during that time.  

Dr. Mary Viventi worked for 46 years as a psychotherapist, nonprofit executive director, and college professor. She has been a lifetime advocate for the empowerment of women and the protection of children at risk of violence. She has served as the past president of the Julia Center.

Marisol Reyes is a Senior Consulting Analyst at NEPC with seven years of investment experience. She actively supports consultants in all aspects of client service in a variety of client relationships. Marisol is a firm’s Impact Investment and Diverse Manager Committee member.

Mike Cathey is a Managing Director with the National Equity Fund.  He leads their Institutional Business Development and Consultant Relations efforts and is responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining institutional client and consultant relationships

Agustin Rizo is a Director of Institutional Business Development for Northern Trust Asset Management.  Agustin was born and raised in West Town, where the Julia Center is located. His mother and sister have benefited from the Center’s programming – having participated in English Classes and Folkloric Dance. In his spare time, he focuses on addressing the needs of at-risk populations, emphasizing educational opportunities.

Treasa Moran is a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley.  She serves as Treasurer of Julia Center’s Board of Directors

Sr. Leora Linnenkugel is a member of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters.  At Julia Center, Sr. Leora has served on the board as a former Treasurer and Director and ESL Teacher for the Center.

Maria Zeremeno has been involved with the Julia Center for over 15 years.  She started as an ESL student and has continued participating in different workshops and classes at the Julia Center.  Maria has been part of the leadership group for over 10 years and has been a board member for 5 years.

Tara Liceaga, CFA, is Vice President of Equity Investment Oversight at Nuveen.  Tara graduated from DePaul University with a BA In English and earned her MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago.

Nichole Roman-Bhatty is a managing director for Marquette Associates and serves on the firm’s board of directors. An owner of the firm, Nichole has been with the company since 1998 and has 28 years of investment experience specializing in socially responsible investing.

Carmen Heredia Lopez is the Executive Director, Investments for Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. BCBSA’s vision is to be the national leader in advancing well-being and health equity. Carmen is a member of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee, and an Audit Committee Financial Expert for the PFM Multi-Manager Series Trust. She also is on the Board of Directors of the following nonprofit boards:  Woodlands Academy, Lifting Equity and Potential (LEAP) Together, and Julia Center. Previously, she served on the national boards of Prospanica (formerly the National Society of Hispanic MBAs) and the Robert A. Toigo Foundation. 

Carmen earned her International MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Business Economics from The University of Chicago.  

Casey Guevara-Lehker is the Manager of Development at the U.S. Soccer Federation, the governing body of soccer in the United States. As Manager of Development, Casey is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the Federation’s fundraising operations.

Prior to his role at U.S. Soccer, Casey was the Director of International Engagement and Executive Office at NPH USA. This organization supports Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH), in raising more than 3,100 orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged boys and girls in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru.

Casey received a bachelor’s degree in international relations and his Master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration from Grand Valley State University in Michigan.  He serves as Board Secretary at Julia Center.
